Nu Warrior Foundation
The Nu Warrior Foundation is the national foundation and philanthropy of Phi Sigma Nu, dedicated to supporting programs that benefit both our members and the broader American Indian community. Established to provide funding beyond the fraternity’s operating budget, the foundation ensures resources for leadership development, cultural initiatives, and community outreach.
In July 2015, the Nu Warrior Foundation was officially incorporated in the state of North Carolina, marking a significant milestone in its mission. Additionally, 10% of Brothers’ yearly Chief Dues are allocated to the foundation, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening Native communities and investing in the future of our brotherhood.

Nu Warrior Fund Initiatives
The Nu Warrior Foundation supports a range of initiatives aimed at uplifting Phi Sigma Nu Brothers and the broader American Indian community. These programs provide scholarships, financial assistance, and resources to ensure the well-being, academic success, and cultural preservation of the brother hood.
Below are the key services offered through the Nu Warrior Foundation.
Phi Sigma Nu Fallen Warriors Scholarship
The Phi Sigma Nu Fallen Warriors Scholarship honors the memory of our deceased Brothers, our “Fallen Warriors,” who exemplified determination and resilience. Their legacy continues through this scholarship, which supports the next generation of Native leaders in achieving their academic goals.
This annual scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university. Eligible applicants must be American Indian men who are enrolled in a state or federally recognized tribe and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Through this scholarship, Phi Sigma Nu is proud to invest in the future of Native scholars and leaders, ensuring that the strength and values of our Fallen Warriors live on.
Condolence Fund
During times of loss, brotherhood means standing together. The Condolence Fund provides monetary assistance to support a Brother grieving the loss of an immediate family member or to aid the family of a Fallen Warrior.
This fund helps ease the financial burden of unexpected loss, allowing us to honor our commitment to brotherhood, support, and compassion in difficult times.
