A Message from the Chief President
The launch of Warrior Words marks a new milestone for Phi Sigma Nu, providing a dedicated space to keep brothers informed on fraternity developments, events, and issues impacting American Indian communities.
"Phi Sigma Nu is still young, and our national organization is evolving. Restructuring is a work in progress, but our success depends on both leadership and the dedication of our members."– Brett A. Locklear, Chief President
Key Fraternity Developments
Governance & Expansion: The Tribunal, a new judicial system, has been established to manage fraternity matters fairly and efficiently.
Strategic Growth: A new comprehensive training manual and standardized intake process ensure consistency across chapters.
Annual Chief Convention: Now a permanent event, bringing together brothers nationwide every July.

Phi Sigma Nu’s growth and success rely on the strength of its members. As leadership transitions, the fraternity remains committed to its mission and values.
Nu Warrior Foundation: Investing in Native Scholars
Phi Sigma Nu is actively working to permanently establish the Nu Warrior Foundation, a scholarship fund dedicated to helping American Indian men pursue higher education.
Approved at the 2007 Chief Convention, the foundation serves as the fraternity’s annual philanthropy.

Phi Sigma Nu has officially expanded westward with the establishment of the Zeta Provisional Chapter at Arizona State University.
Twelve new members successfully completed the intake process.
Expansion coincided with the 2007 AISES Conference, allowing new brothers to connect with members from Oklahoma and North Carolina.
